Treats for the Staff, December 20-22

It’s that time of year to show our HES staff how much we care…

Join the Parent Teacher Association by bringing in Treats for Staff

Wednesday-Friday before winter break

December 20-22

Show Your Appreciation in Two Ways:

  • Bring baked goods to the teacher’s lounge in the morning (room near cafeteria)
  • Write a note of appreciation for the staff who care for your child

Email Mary at to help with clean-up or simply bring something in!

Volunteer workshops

HES needs you to volunteer! There are many opportunities to help out at HES–chaperoning field trips, monitoring the lunch room, and math and reading tutoring, to name a few. To offer your help, directly contact your child’s teacher, or Ms. Penate.

All volunteers need to get a background check and be cleared by Child Protective Services (CPS). There are several upcoming opportunities to do this. Mark your calendars to get this done so that you can help your child’s school!
